Echo and the Bunnymen zegt optreden af
DEN HAAG - De hoofdact van het Haagse festival Pophotspot heeft plotseling afgezegd. De Britse band Echo and the Bunnymen zal 26 juni niet optreden op het podium op de Grote Markt.
De organisatie weet niet waarom de band niet naar de hofstad komt. Echo and the Bunnymen is een new wave-icoon uit de jaren tachtig. De groep rond zanger Ian McCulloch scoorde hits als Seven Seas en The Killing Moon.In plaats van de Bunnymen zal nu de Belgische groep Vive la Fête optreden. Pophotspot is een onderdeel van The Hague Festivals.
